I have been training with Gemma for almost a year now in both 121 sessions and group classes. Gemma's 121 sessions are always individual to you and varied a lot so you get to experience different types of exercises. Gemma's approach is very personal and she cares about her clients. She will challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone and she's always there to celebrate your successes with you. I'm so glad that I took what was a very daunting step and started training with Gemma. I have so far lost 25lbs and am lifting heavy which I never thought I would be able to achieve. Gemma has helped me build confidence in so many ways and has helped me focus and reduce my anxiety all through helping me build something sustainable. I have also found a love for kettlebells through her group sessions which are always fun and are always a safe and secure environment. I would not hesitate in recommending Gemma to anyone.

Gemma is an amazing PT- I have been training with her for a few months now with the goal of rebuilding my body and strength post pregnancy and to recover from related injuries. "Been regularly attending sessions every week after doing nothing like this before. One thing I have never been good at is  technique, but Gemma is always confident and happy to teach me to ensure I am persistently doing it correctly. Outside of the PT sessions, I have also been asking her about nutrition for cycling and running. My cycling has improved hugely going from 60km max all the way to 100km in a month! Great at tailoring the sessions to everyone's abilities. Always felt included and motivated to push me. Definitely not changing to any other PT any time soon. Definitely getting my money's worth".

1 year update: I have been with Gemma a year this month, and wow! I am happier, healthier and fitter than I have ever been. I look forward to my weekly class. Gemma is brilliant and no two classes are the same. I look forward to seeing the other regular ladies and we always have a laugh while we workout.

My weekly PTs have been life changing and I am more confident and LOVE lifting weights with Gemma's guidance. Her knowledge is second to none, she is always looking to keep things new and fun. What's more, she is lovely and makes even the most daunting exercises totally doable.

 

I have been training with Gemma since November 2021. It started with boxercise and then also 1:1 sessions. The boxercise classes are fun, motivating and actually really addictive. The 1:1 sessions are improving my fitness and confidence, and it's also great for my mental health. It has also been lovely to get to know Gemma over the last few months. Her ethos, and that of her business resonate with me and it's great to find a PT who understands life is all about balance and that exercise is also about mental health. "Oh wow! That’s a huge difference isn’t it?! Thanks so much for emailing me to tell me the good news! I’ve written a little bit about how I feel below. Feel free to use or happy to change if you’d rather. X I’ve spent much of my life in the gym and always loved lifting weights, but life changes meant I stopped all that for about 3 years and my body changed massively. I needed the motivation to get back to the gym again and get my self confidence back, so I booked 8 weeks with Gemma and I’m so glad I did! I’m only 4 weeks in and I’ve lost a whole 4 inches from my waist… I knew I’d changed shape but that’s really exciting! As motivational as that is, the biggest driver for me is how amazing I feel in myself. I have a very demanding job and it’s hard to fit everything in, yet I find my energy is sky high, I'm sleeping at least 8 hours every night, eating a healthy diet (with the odd glass of wine or vodka of course) 😉. With 2 young labradors I’ve always loved walking but I find the influence of the diet and training I’m doing means I’m pushing myself to walk further and faster every day. It’s definitely a cumulative effect. And most satisfying of all for me, as someone who was born with a heart murmur and a hole in my heart, my usual resting heart rate has been between 75 and 80 for the last few years. It’s now consistently at 66!!!! If I can do this in just 4 weeks, who knows what I can achieve in the next couple of months! Thank you Gemma for your smiley face, great motivation, expert advice and listening ear. You’re really helping me to find myself again!"
